How to care for sheepskin:

Only brush the sheepskin once in a while with a comb or brush, never wash the fur in a washing machine or soak the back of the fur. You can brush the fur in snow, but not in wet snow - powder is best. You can clean the fur or wool with a detergent containing lanolin so that the back of the fur does not get wet. Dilute the lanolin 1:5 in a spray bottle and spray the wool part of the fur with the fur and leave for 1 hour. Then shower the fur lightly in an upright position to avoid soaking the back of the fur (it could harden). After that, dry the fur slowly (not in direct sunlight, on the stove or in the dryer).
